Registration Information and Procedures

Online Registration

Online registration is a fast, simple way to complete your meeting registration. Payment must be made at the time online registration is completed. Unpaid online registrations will automatically be canceled.

Steps to Register Online

To create a new registration:

  • Go to “Register Now”
  • Select “New Registration”
  • Enter AOA membership ID number – if unknown, call 800-365-2219 and ask the AOA operator
  • Enter Date of Birth (mm/dd/yyyy)
  • Important: Select “Extract AOA Membership Information” to maximize your AOA member meeting-related benefits
  • Name and address will populate. Fill in any blank fields.
  • Select “Continue Registration”
  • Select “Functions”
  • Submit payment – you will not be registered without a valid form of payment
  • Write down your Form (F) and Control (C) numbers, which allow you to update your registration in the future
  • You will receive an e-mail confirmation if registration is successful

To update an existing registration:

  • Go to “Update an Existing Registration”
  • Refer to your original registration confirmation letter
  • Enter your Form (F) and Control (C) Numbers
  • Update your registration
  • Submit payment if necessary
  • You will receive an e-mail confirmation if registration update is successful

Online registrations submitted on or before 11:59pm CT, April 1, 2010, will receive the discounted early-bird registration and CE fees. Online registrations submitted April 2, 2010, through 11:59pm CT, May 18, 2010, will be processed at the premium rate. Click here for registration and CE fees.

The deadline for advanced registration is May 18, 2010. We are unable to process registrations received after 11:59pm CT, May 18, 2010 but you can register on-site.

To Register by Mail

If not registering online, complete the registration form on page 81 of the Preliminary Registration Brochure. A separate form must be used for each primary registrant. Guest and Junior Delegate registration should be completed on the back of the form, page 82. Copies of the form may be made if needed. All information must be completed in full using blue or black ink. Please print clearly.

Payment in full must accompany the registration form and must equal the amount shown in Grand Total. Registrations received without payment will not be processed. Mailed registration forms may be paid by check (U.S. dollars only) made payable to Optometry’s Meeting® or by MasterCard, VISA, or American Express. The AOA has the authority to adjust the amount charged to credit cards if the total of all functions requested and/or base registration fee(s) is calculated incorrectly.

Registrations postmarked on or before April 1, 2010, will receive the discounted early-bird rate for registration and CE fees. Registrations postmarked from April 2, 2010, through May 18, 2010, will be processed at the premium rate. Registrations postmarked after May 18, 2010, will be processed on-site at the on-site rates.
